High Availability / Disaster Recovery Solution
Internet is already part of our daily lives along with the times. Various network services are even more important and indispensable for companies.
For better communication with customers and business management, many companies are using websites, emails, file servers and other services, which enhance effectiveness of company operations.
Some companies even set up servers in offices or data centers to increase service flexibility and efficiency.
Have you ever thought that if a single server occurs problem suddenly, its services such as website, emails, and file servers will be affected?
If the problem is serious, the restoration time may be unexpectable. It may even take days to restore the server, which may also create another problem - data loss. This issue will affect the company's image and operation, and the loss is incalculable.
Regarding to this problem, the I.T. solution companies normally recommend using a load balancer and configuring multiple servers to ensure the stability and data integrity of the server.
Such solution generally costs hundreds of thousands for implementation, however not all companies can afford such huge cost.
In view of this, with years of experience, Nethub offers a cost effective solution that can ensure the stability and data integrity of the server.
Our solution is to create a High Availability two-node cluster that only requires two servers with similar hardwares and performances - Active Server and Standby Server.
With configuration in two servers, the data of the two servers can be synchronized, and the Standby Server will always monitor the status of the Active Server.

In case if there is problem with the Active Server, the Standby Server will immediately replace the Active Server and continue to run the services of the Active Server (e.g. email service, website service, file server, etc.), the process will only take seconds (depends on the actual situation).
Since the data of the Active and Standby Servers are synchronized, when the Standby Server replaces the service of the Active Server, the data will still exist and keep providing services.
Because the Standby Server can restore the service immediately, it greatly saves the service recovery time. Customers do not need to set up a server from the beginning, and also no need to worry about any data lost.
