Hongkong Post built a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in early 2000 and became the first public recognized certification authority (CA) under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (ETO) (Cap. 553) in Hong Kong. Hongkong Post e-Cert (Server) certificate is issued to Bureaux and Departments of the Government of Hong Kong SAR, organisations with a valid Business Registration Certificate (BR) of Hong Kong SAR, and statutory bodies of Hong Kong whose existence is recognized by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.

Once your initial certificate enters the renewal phase (1 month prior to the certificate expiry date) your order will be extended. To comply with the CA/B Forum guidelines, you will need to complete the validation again and reissue the updated SSL certificate.
