The Windows platform supports HTML, Flash, ASP, ASP.NET framework.
The Linux platform supports HTML, Flash, PHP, CGI.
Choosing which platform will depend on the programming language of your website, such as HTML, Flash, PHP, CGI, ASP, ASP.NET framework ...etc.

For example:
If your site is written in ASP / ASP.NET framework, you can select Windows platform.
If your site is written in HTML / Flash / PHP / CGI, you can select Linux platform.

Yes, you can. Since the most of forum require the use of the database, so you just need to select the plan which carries a database, such as the Linux basic web hosting plan B.

There are three conditions for application of our free hosting:

1. Only applications of Hong Kong local customers are accepted.

2. Require to pay a one-time installation fee HK$300.

3. Require to renew your domain name annually via Nethub.

Installation fee is a one-off, as long as you pay one time of it, and renew your domain name via Nethub annually, you can use our free hosting service permanently.

Data traffic is the amount of data that is used for upload/download of your website, FTP and E-Mail in the server.

We will provide FTP login information to you, you can use any software which supports FTP to upload / download your web pages.

Please refer to payment methods for payment. When we receive your payment, your account can be activated within 24 hours (except holidays), and the login information will be sent to your email address.

Transfer can be divided into four steps:

1. Backup data from the old server
1.1) Use Outlook or E-mail software to download your e-mail to your computer.
1.2) If you have MySQL database, you can export it to backup to your computer via phpMyAdmin. If there is no phpMyAdmin, please contact your old hosting provider for how to backup of MySQL.
1.3) Download the web site files from the old hosting server to your computer via FTP.

2. Restore data to a new server
2.1) Log in Plesk control panel and create the necessary E-Mail box in advance.
2.2) Log in Plesk control panel and import your MySQL backup from the computer via the phpMyAdmin.
2.3) Upload your web site files from your computer to the new server via FTP. You can log in Plesk control panel and click \"Site Preview\" to check whether the site operates properly in new server.

3. Start to transfer
3.1) Change domain DNS to point to the new server. Please note that DNS updates will take about 1-2 days. After the DNS is updated, your Outlook or Email software may show error of login failure, at this time you just need to update the account settings in Outlook or Email software, then you can send and receive e-mail via new servers.
3.2) If your domain name will be transferred to the Nethub for renewal, please unlock the domain name and email the domain name's login URL, login name, password and authorization code (a.k.a. EPP code) to us, we will transfer your domain name to Nethub for renewal. If you do not have the above information, you can contact the old hosting company to collect it.

4. The whole transfer process is complete, you can cancel your account at the old hosting company now.
